Each piece of sea glass has a unique story and history of where it once originated from. Most sea glass has come from broken wine and beer bottles that have been littered into the sea. Other glass pieces may come from a colorful array of blown glass pieces that have also been discarded into the sea. Once glass enters the sea it begins it process of changing from a shiny jagged piece of glass to a smooth and frosted glass treasure. The roundness and sugar frosted appearance is a result of the glass tumbling while making contact with rocks, coral, and sand along the sea floor bed.
